one of the MB clubs in germany: MBIG ( www.mbig.de ) got the exhaust for 220 Cpe/Cab manufactured, in stainless steel. Apart from the fact that its stainless steel and not regular metal, its 100% according to original specifications (including the sound insulation material). They sell it to members for roundabout 1360€. I bought one recently.

Hello to all! I beg your pardon to write in english to write in english, hope to have some help as well.
I have to restore a 220 SEb coupe 1961 and I have problems with the exhaust system: I have to change all (three) parts but I was told front pipe is no more available. Is it true? Any advice? Is it possible to mount the exhaust system of 250 or 280 coupe?

Hallo an alle! Ich bitte um Verzeihung auf Englisch zu schreiben.
Ich muss ein 220 SEb Coupe 1961 reparieren und ich habe Probleme mit der Auspuffanlage: Ich muss alle (drei) Teile ändern, aber mir wurde gesagt, dass die Frontpfeife nicht mehr verfügbar! Ist es wahr? Irgendein Rat? Ist es möglich, die Abgasanlage von 250 oder 280 Coupe zu montieren?
