I havea 65 220se coupe. Ican recommend the MB book. I boughtit, and it contains everything you need to know on the engine. It's about 1000 pages of truly interesting information, in GERMAN!

Thanks for your response, i have just found the item number of the manual in

the place you told me, i will go to the united states and place an order

there since the mercedes dealers in my country dont carry it. ill keep working on my cars and taking some notes and pictures of the process i hope somebody may find them helpful in your site.
