Hi,

i dont know if somebody there speaks english, if so, ill continue.

I recently bought two w111, one 1962 and the other 1964, i have both at the

repair shop, but the problem is that i cant find an assebly chart of the

engine, and the mechanics dont want to take the risk if disasembling the

motor whithout the manual, is ther a way any of you can help me, maybe by

scaning this page of your manual, and send it in a email; be shure ill look

forwad to correspond to your kindness, thank you.

I´m sorry that I can´t help you with a copy of the assembly plan of my engine – It´s a 280 SE/C from 1968 and you should own a 220 or a 250. If you follow Manfred´s link, it will lead you to the Mercedes Benz Classic center – here you will certainly find a specific plan of your engines.

I just took a look myself and found the
Werkstatthandbuch

PKW-Typen ab Baujahr 1959

which will contain a plan of your engine(s) and many useful details and plans of all the other parts of the car (transmission, brakes, gear etc.). For it is only available in german it could course little problems in translation – but MB doesn´t offer this mechanical book in any other language. If you want to buy it, just send a facimile transmission to the classic center (follow the link to General Handling Advices).

When I ordered mine, it took three days of deliverance.

I havea 65 220se coupe. Ican recommend the MB book. I boughtit, and it contains everything you need to know on the engine. It's about 1000 pages of truly interesting information, in GERMAN!
