Als Antwort auf: chart of the engine geschrieben von Alejandro Orozco Aceves am 11. April 2001 21:25:07:
Hi Alejandro,
I´m sorry that I can´t help you with a copy of the assembly plan of my engine – It´s a 280 SE/C from 1968 and you should own a 220 or a 250. If you follow Manfred´s link, it will lead you to the Mercedes Benz Classic center – here you will certainly find a specific plan of your engines.
I just took a look myself and found the
Werkstatthandbuch
PKW-Typen ab Baujahr 1959
(Typen/Types: 190 c, 190 Dc, 200, 200 D, 230, 220 b, 220 Sb, 220 SEb, 230, 230 S, 250 S, 250 SE, 300 SEb (108), 220 SEb/C, 250 SE/C, 230 SL, 250 SL, 300 SE (112), 300 SE/C, 300 SEL/109.015)
gebunden/bound, 888 Seiten/Pages
German 6510 1402 00
Euro 66,47
which will contain a plan of your engine(s) and many useful details and plans of all the other parts of the car (transmission, brakes, gear etc.). For it is only available in german it could course little problems in translation – but MB doesn´t offer this mechanical book in any other language. If you want to buy it, just send a facimile transmission to the classic center (follow the link to General Handling Advices).
When I ordered mine, it took three days of deliverance.
kind regards
